Our Programs
What We Do
Community Events
Huayun Aurora organizes over 20 large-scaled community events bringing together senior immigrants in Aurora to help them feel engaged in the community.
These events range from festival parades to gardening, artistic performances, and Festival Galas. Each of these events involve up to 200 members from our association who come together to celebrate life in Canada and promote exchange between eastern and western cultures.
We Cultivate Cultural Exchange
Performance Arts
Huayun offers a vibrant range of performing arts training programs that encourage creativity, skill development, and cultural expression among our members. Through dance, music, and stage performance workshops, participants of all ages—especially seniors and youth—have the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with others in a supportive environment.
Each training season culminates in community performances where members proudly showcase their talents, celebrate cultural heritage, and share the joy of arts with the wider community. These programs not only enrich individual lives but also strengthen cultural understanding and community spirit.
We Support the Elderly
Senior Education
Our offerings include English language lessons to help seniors build confidence in daily communication, healthcare seminars that promote awareness and healthy living, and calligraphy classes that preserve cultural traditions while encouraging creativity and mindfulness. Alongside these programs, Huayun continues to expand educational opportunities that enrich seniors’ lives, foster social engagement, and empower them to stay active, informed, and connected within the community.
